Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Pick a Printer website ("Site") or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Site immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pick a Printer, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Delaware limited liability company.

2. Services & content

Pick a Printer publishes independent editorial content — buying guides, reviews and how-to articles — and offers paid services including printer matchmaking, remote setup, maintenance plans, fleet consulting, team training and custom reviews. Full details of each service, its scope and pricing are described on the Services page.

All editorial content is provided for informational purposes. It reflects our opinion as of the date of publication and may become out of date. We update popular guides at least annually.

3. Accounts & registration

Some services require you to register an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as it changes
• Keep your password confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we suspect of fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, any account, or any connected system
• Interfere with the functioning of the Site (denial-of-service attacks, malware, excessive automated crawling)
• Copy, resell or exploit any part of the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or infringes another person's rights
• Impersonate any person or entity

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — articles, reviews, photography, video, graphics, code, and the Pick a Printer name and logo — is our property or that of our licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.

You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use — republication, translation, redistribution, use in AI training data sets, incorporation into another product or service — requires our written permission. Contact [email protected] for licensing enquiries.

6. User-generated content

Comments, reviews, forum posts and other content you submit to the Site ("User Content") remain yours. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce and adapt the User Content on the Site and in our marketing.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our discretion, without notice.

7. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on the Site are affiliate links — if you buy a product after clicking one, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products we recommend. If we would not have chosen a product on merit, we do not include an affiliate link for it. 8. Disclaimers & warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

While we take reasonable care to publish accurate and up-to-date content, we cannot guarantee that specifications, prices or opinions remain correct. Always confirm with the manufacturer or seller before purchase.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pick a Printer, its officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including lost profits or data — arising from your use of the Site or any purchased service.

Our aggregate liability in connection with the Site or any service you purchase shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pick a Printer and its personnel from any claim, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your infringement of any third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Site at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
